For some reason, lately I’ve been obsessed with R&B songs from the 80s and 90s, so I figured I might as well get some of these songs stuck in your head too.  I love songs that take you back to middle school and high school, where skidz were the coolest pants on the planet and Zack Morris was trying to sneak into The Attic.  One song with this magical power is Tell Me by Groove Theory.

Most (recent) R&B songs don’t really have staying power, but Groove Theory’s 1995 classic, Tell Me, is still better than most of the rhythm & blues coming out today.  With a catchy, restrained beat, soultry lead vocals, and timeless lyrics, Tell Me still remains an intimate, dreamy, sexy song.
