It’s mid-July and a summer anthem is required.  Don’t worry.  Poolside, the LA-based indie electronic duo, has it under control.  Slow Down, the single off Pacific Standard Time, the twosome’s debut album, released on July 9, 2012, is a smooth, pulsating synth track that is the musical essence of relaxation.  The  title alone is a public service announcement to those who need to snap out of the 9-5 mindset and get themselves to the beach.  Dig yourself into the sand, lay back, watch the waves crash into the shore and let Slow Down‘s lazy pace, shimmering synths and soft, harmonized falsettos put you at ease.  Enjoy.
