Seduction has never sounded more ominous or enchanting than with “Here We Never Die,” off the 2011 debut album Bellow, by the lush and haunting, Sister Crayon.  The Sacramento trio are no newcomers, manifesting tracks which combine electronics, R&B and soul, with a psychedelic twist since 2007.  There is a subtle swagger and a not so subtle sexuality in lead singer, Terra Lopez’s breathless, hushed vocals as she effortlessly pulls you into a world of pain and loneliness but embraces you on the way down.  Enjoy.
