The resurgence of 80s synth pop has flooded the indie scene, resulting in its creators losing the cache of ironic, self-awareness and being burdened with the aura of uninspired bandwagoners.  Yet, amidst the crowd of electronic apathy, a few gems are hidden, one being Ice Water, the single off Lemonade‘s 2012 debut album, Dive.  Razor sharp synths and mechanized percussions snap right from the intro while the lyrics are laid out with a slick, robotic tenor, making Ice Water cooler than a popped collar and fluorescent pink sunglasses.  Enjoy.
