Don’t confuse Rocketeer with the 90s movie or the comic book although the band’s dramatic approach appears to coincide with that of the character bearing the same name.  The London quintet has yet to release anything on this side of the Atlantic, but here’s to hoping.  With their single Cupid, Rocketeer displays a vaudevillian aura and an almost completely lost art of the delicacy of great storytelling being the driving force of a song.  The deep, mischievous tone, the intricacy of each instrument’s role, and the comical video make Cupid a frolicking good time.  Enjoy.
