The internet is the mecca of indie self promotion…except if you are New Jersey newcomers, Blood Cultures. Faceless and Facebookless, very little is known of this new pop group except their first single, “Indian Summer” is seriously relaxing dream pop. I’m talking swinging in a hammock about to pass out relaxing dream pop. Clearly influenced by The Knife’s “Heartbeats,” (one of the best pop songs ever), “Indian Summer” is close to synth perfection. Hopefully, we’ll be able to peel away the mysterious layers of this new outfit, and maybe get a few more great tracks in the process. Enjoy.
